Yakkers Take On The CNBC Republican Debate

Wednesday night’s Republican debate made for a gripping night of television. The nation tuned in to CNBC to watch the early polling leader, Donald Trump, go head-to-head (to head… to head…) with nine other candidates, all vying for the title of POTUS.

While the candidates (and moderators…) battled it out on the stage in Boulder, Yakkers jumped onto their local Yik Yak feeds – and the app-wide Yak Chat in the Peek tab – to voice their opinions during the debate. Yaks ranged from supporting a candidate, to reacting to a heated point of discussion (Fantasy Football, anyone?), to asking questions about topics that matter most to them.

October truly seems like a magical month; there’s a good ratio of leaves on the tree to admire and leaves on the ground to crunch, the temperature is finally cool enough for you to stop getting back-sweat on the way to class, and you can find candy on practically every aisle in the grocery store! In the words of my literary hero Ann of Green Gables, “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.”

Week In Review: Peek Feed Recap from Sept. 25-27

The Pope finally decided to visit the United States! That was exciting for a lot of people. More exciting though, was Nickelodeon’s announcement that they will be bringing back a long list of fan favorites from the 90′s. Starting on October 5th, Nick will debut “The Splat”, which will be an 8-hour block of programming consisting exclusively of reruns from shows like “Rugrats”, “Catdog”, and “Legends of the Hidden Temple”.
